Vivid Arts Network of New York in collaboration with the Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco ® Life Beyond Tourism ® and ARTTour International MagazineT is pleased to announce "Vivid Arts Network: A Retrospective" at the Auditorium al Duomo in Florence, from 1 to 10 of March 2012, as part of the "ARTOUR-O il Must" Florence in 2012. The opening ceremony will be held Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 17:00 at the Auditorium al Duomo with a "happy hour" in the presence of the artists.
"Vivid Arts Network: A Retrospective" is an International Art Exhibition, directed by Viviana Puello with the participation of 28 artists from 13 countries and from different streams of expression: painting, sculpture, installation, photography, video and virtual art.
The exhibition features a select group of artists whose works have illustrated their own personal journey through art, through which propose social issues, or artists who wanted to express what represents them most.
Among the participants will attend the famous digital artist, researcher and web developer, Martha Gabriel (Brazil) with her masterpiece of interactive digital installation: "Sensitive Rose".
Continuing with a fusion of art and science, the participation of the artist Raul Cantu (Mexico) and his amazing three-dimensional images, created with digital technology. Visitors will be provided with 3D glasses for viewing of his works.
Photography artist Shifra Levyathan (Israel) will present a selection of works from her series"In Motion", recently awarded the prize "Spotlight" by B & W Magazine in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Will also be present, Fumagine Master Frans Frengen (Belgium), Pointilism Master Jim Pescott (Canada), who recently participated in an exhibition organized by the National Society of Beaux-Arts in the Carousel du Louvre world, famous artist, SusanObermeyer Strauss (USA) with her new series of meditative art, Maggie Magee(USA) International artist who has been awarded the prestigious Lorenzo il Magnifico Award from the Florence Biennale in 2009; Malena Peon (Mexico), Anne D. Grandin (USA); Sculptor Cheri Mittermeier (USA) Christel Sobke (Germany), Elizabeth and Paul Uyehara (USA), Emanuele Conti (Italy), Juan Lopez (Honduras); Kreuzritter Helga (Germany); Lydia van den Berg (Bulgaria / Austria), Marina Reitier (USA), Marta Vaneva (France); Monika Jensen (Canada); Nada Herman (Australia); Nikolina Simunovic (Croatia) Sophie Schubakoff (Finland); Stella Viopoulos (Greece), Teresa Young (Canada ); Viggo Carlsen(Sweden); Wendy Cohen (Australia); Wendy Waugh (USA).
"Vivid Arts Network: A Retrospective" International Exhibition is designed to promote intercultural dialogue, contemporary art in Florence and the message of responsible tourism, is through the sharing of these issues which Vivid Arts Network has joined the Portal Nonprofit Life Beyond Tourism ® ( www.lifebeyondtourism.org ).
For all lovers of contemporary art and not only is a good opportunity to see up close all of these great artistic experiences.
Part of the proceeds will go to Italy ECPAT, an organization that helps children and women victims of trafficking in human beings.
